Living Out Loud
What is LOL (Living Out Loud)?
LOL is a place where everyone can Live Out Loud as their true selves. No one needs to hide who they are. Simply put, this is a safe space for all. Our goal is to create a caring and supportive environment where everyone feels safe, accepted, and empowered. We aim to reduce bullying, improve mental health, and help everyone succeed both academically and beyond. By building strong peer connections and providing community support, we can actively stand against homophobia and transphobia. Together, we can foster a more inclusive, understanding, and welcoming culture that benefits everyone.
There aren’t many spaces like this in Cass County. In fact, no school in the
area has a GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) club. We aim to create that space. Additionally, we want to provide a place for young adults (18-26) to find community. Understand that these two groups are not religious; however, I am open to conversations and questions.

Who is the Lead for LOL (Living Out Loud)?
My name is Branden Scott, and I am not only a member of the Cass County Pride board, but I am also a pastor at Royal Center United Methodist in Royal Center and Radnor United Methodist just outside Delphi. I will soon become the senior pastor at Cross-Wind United Methodist in July 2026.
